The soul of box comes from its flavor. the first concept box flavor was the graybox, targeting japan's ageing population.
Graybox provclasses services suited to an older generation of first time technology users, particularly health related:
USB heart/blood rate monitors, etc. for direct medical data checkins at home. Mail and messaging via voice and vclasseo.
Large, simple interface, quickly understood and easily used.
Other box flavors may include:

Box flavors are conceived on a GNU/open source platform underlying a custom designed interface for the target user.
Box flavors can be easily reinstalled at boot from the web, or box locations: every box can be any flavor.
Box community provides peer support and user led development of each flavor around a common base.
Box flavors can be created on demand for various commercial or industrial actors for specific application.
